Cops shoot warning shots into the air, and apparently, the bullets just keep going into outer space. In reality, the bullets come back down, and they come down at the same speed (or close to it) that they went up. And they can still kill a person. Or, in the city, they could enter a skyscraper window and kill someone. One of the things they couldn't drill into us enough at the police academy was: DON'T FIRE WARNING SHOTS. IF YOU AREN'T AIMING THE GUN, YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE THE BULLET IS GOING.So don't try this at home, kids.
