Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone by implying corned beef and cabbage was "typical" of real Irish food -- it's just what we see served here in the American northwest - and yes many of the bars do pour gallons of ghastly green beer on St. Pat's, but in latter years I see more people in the bars drinking Guiness, a consciousness of its quality has finally arrived.I was merely curious about the fishing aspect, and some of the replies above have somewhat answered that.
