Kendall -

I know you've had this problem with links in email for some time, and I can certainly understand the frustration.

If I understand correctly, the main problem is that links in email messages won't connect.

Most people use a separate program for email - so your problem may be there rather than with IE or netscape. In the typical Mickey$oft setup, you would use Outlook or Outlook Express. You may also have run into MSN Explorer, which is NOT the same thing as Internet Explorer - and which, I understand, does some rather peculiar things.

You should actually be able to click on "links" in virtually any program - Word, Excel, even NotePad, etc, and get the web connection. If these kinds of links work, and it's only in email that there's a problem, then most likely it's your email program that's not doing right by you.

I can't offer anything now other than sympathy, but I'll keep poking around.
