Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Fear A Bhata
Thanx for your help, George, unfortunateley I can't find the info I'm looking for there either :((( About the tab - it's the type of notation, it shows exactly how can you play it - I would day it's something between the chords (when you only write: A, F#m etc.) and the notes. I'm looking for the guitar tabs, for a notation where you have six lines (it looks a little bit like a stave, but the space between the lines are more wide:) - each line is for one guitar string - and then you have everything shown - when and where must you out a finger - you just look at it and do the same as it's written down. A guitar chord can also be written down as a tab, I mean - when you learn new chords, you look at the paper (or the computer sreen) and just "follow the instructions" from the picture - putting your fingers just as it's shown there. Well, but I need a tab, because this song doesn't sound good, when you just hit the chords, it's played... well, I don't konw the english term for it, anyway - You put the fingers just as for the chord, but you do not hit the strings all together or from the highest to the lowest, but you play the single strings... You play the melody in the strins not just the rhythm on the base chords. And the tab is the best way you can learn it if you're just a beginner (I still feel like one), especially when it's hard to hear what ONE of the guitars plays, when you have two played at the same time in the song, and each of them plays a little bit different (though using the same chords). Sorry, I know that what I wrote could be a little shorter but I'm tryin' to explain it the best I can, and I'm not very good in english... "Ringo"
