I have most of the lyrics for the chorus to this song, but can't find a listing for it anywhere. I'm told it's a Jimmy McCarthy song, but even at the sites for his music all I can find are discographies. The final chorus is:

One bright blue rose outlives all those, ten thousand years and so it goes, to ponder his death and his life eternally.

The only version I have heard of it is sung by a pair of brothers here in San Diego, the O'Brien Brothers. (who are moving back to Ireland in April! Sad day for the girls of San Diego!) They have a website, but even at the fan site they don't have the lyrics for that song listed.
