Larry, we'll be glad to have you all. Until then, come on up to Natick, MA, and catch me at the New England Folk Festival on Saturday, April 20, 2002. I'll be leading an open Woody Guthrie Jam Session in the afternoon, and in the evening I'll be performing a mini-concert of Songs of the Road with the lovely and talented Valentine Doyle.

Meanwhile, I got my very first outright rejection today. It was from a club somewhere in New England, but I won't say which club or even which town. Now I've been put on hold for up to two years by some places before they finally booked me, and I'm still waiting to hear from the Postcrypt at Columbia University in New York, but I've never before been on the receiving end of a blunt sorry pal, we don't want you!

There has to be a first time for everything, so I guess I'll be singing the blues tonight. Sniff, sniff.
