I put in a thread with the main address where all of the songs are to be found. Eventually they will become hopefully a part of the dt and be found there.... The main page is: Click here for the sang beuk

The songs are all listed on one index page which you can reach from the first page. There are also links to an index of names and images and backgrounds of writers characters and performers.

Thanks for all the kind words. It is important to have all of these songs in one place-that is the goal. Eventually too some analysis and when time permits an index of names mentioned in the songs. And of course more tunes....

I have just located an affordable copy of allen which will replace my dog eared xerox copy. There are a bunch of songs from that source which were not included on the first pass through. Then there is the completion of the armstrong collection. Joe Wilson.....well that is an epic. I will probably do some more of his before taking a break and going to Armstrong. Then back to allen.

The important thing is not just getting the songs together in one set but getting people to play and perform them. Install a song in a few minds and there you have done something important.

So that is up to you....help pass along the news and encourage performance. Some of these things are such wonderful treasures - way over due for performance especially now that newcastle broon is available in so many places. That is how this started. I was drinking a pint of broon and being forced to listen to Irish music. The folks drinking the broon along with me in the place did not know a single song I cited and sung. So there it is.....

Of course this project is funded out of my beer budget. So......any assistance will go right to keeping my mouth wet.
