Thanks, Peter. I remember it as, "Spigot's the name, Spigot's the game."

That skit spawned a sobriquet among telephone-answering service operators (I may have started it), to refer to operators who could not multitask and be on several lines at once. A good operator could have six or more lines plugged into six or more connections on her own 100-line board (or the next board over if it was untended), flipping the hold key to move between the conversations ("Dr. Scholl's office, wung momend puleeze"). If you were good you wanted good ones next to you on a Friday afternoon as all the docs and lawyers blew out of town and the boards would light up like crazy. So an operator with a one-track mind, who could plod through only one call at a time, was called a Unicorder.
