A long time ago, a Dublin friend and musical mentor of mine named Sean Oglesby named me Jango (for reasons that were never fully made clear, but involved the fact that he already knew several Michaels).
A bit later I was part of an acoustic folk/blues trio called The Frozen Burrito Brothers. (You can see where this is going.) We decided to adopt stage names: there was Rusty S. Hell (who hadn't played much lately) and Flip Yuoff (who was sensitive to audience reaction), and I became Jango Reinstone (who soloed using only two fingers).

We had a good time, and those in the audience who got it, had a good laugh.
