Subject: RE: Aidan Crossey offer at Pay the Reckoning
As a whistle player who sometimes misses the best place to catch a breath, I'm often all in favour of a mad dash to the end of the set! But I've been going to some CCE sessions of late, where the older players in particular seem wholly oblivious of the trend of recent years. It's reminded me how much more pronounced the rhythm becomes when things are slowed down a bit.

That "work in progress" comment, by the way, was purely about the recording quality and overall finish - nothing to do with Aidan's singing/playing, which were well up to everything he took on, in my view. And Aidan's right about that Bucks set - I'd meant to mention it.

(Aidan, I'm Peter Kirker, aka Fionn, in case you hadn't made the connection.)
