gonna try to type up the next "installment" later today, but just wanted to let you guys know.....Jon and I did an "inventory" of plants coming up on the property this spring...and the things we transplanted from my yard two(??)weeks ago. Those baby lilacs, that were only one/two foot tall "sticks" when we planted them, have LEAF BUDS forming on them..EVERY one of them AND my grandmother's antique roses also have leaf buds coming. Jon's excited!!!! (me too!!)

Still not sure if the Rambling Roses made the move ok.....NOT complaining here!!!

Banjer...Jon just turned 12. The guitar he bought is an electric guitar....(I haven't seen it yet)BUT I make sure I have acoustic folk/blues guitar music on when he comes over....saw him listening with BOTH ears and absorbing the music a few times...
