I merelymake the point that if plenty of people were opening their lungs and joining in, one person with the wrong kind of voice wouldnt be able to "take over". And there are a helluva lot of people who dont go to folk clubs any more because of the sepulchral atmosphere prevailing these days which might be worth considering in connection with what you are saying. But I emphasis again, I wasnt there: I am only speaking theoretically.
