I thought he was very good; the hard thing for me to accept was Harrison Ford as a kindly New York cop! Russell Crowe as John Nash - in and out of accent. Benny Hill doing American - inaccurate, but a hoot nonetheless. A few years ago, there was a television remake of Captains Courageous, the old Spencer Tracy/Freddie Bartholomew movie, with Karl Malden in the Lionel Barrymore role of the old Captain.Malden's New England accent was atrocious - as was most of the cast of A Perfect Storm by the way - at one point he referred to Gloucester, Mass, as Glow-sester. We all know it's pronounced Glosta, just as Worcester is pronounced Wista. Right, Kendall?
