A co-worker of mine and his wife played the same 6 numbers for three years, every week. They went to Florida on vacation, instructing a friend to purchase a ticket for those numbers while they were gone. The morning after the drawing, they called to discover that the six numbers had come up. In a state of euphoria, they called the friend. That was when they were informed that the friend had forgotten to purchase the ticket.

Somethings are just not meant to be, I suppose.
