Mark: Nowadays, Channel 10 is NBC and Channel 3 is CBS! Channels 6 & 12 remain the same. 17 is WB (Warner Brothers), 29 is FOX, 48 is an independent station with some foreign-language programming. 57 is UPN, and 39 is another PBS station, WYBE. The days of the local kids' shows with local hosts are gone, and I think that's a shame.

Back to Channel 12 for a sec... Remember the "Gentle Giant" show, with the giraffe puppet that would poke its head into the castle window, and the dollhouse furniture that the guy would move around as an invitation to kids to pull up a chair, so to speak, and listen to his stories?
