Thread Name: BS: part II Forgotten TV series
Subject: RE: BS: part II Forgotten TV series
P.S. – Just read the link about "The Friendly Giant" (http://www.tvparty.com/lostgiant.html) and learned a lot: I'd always thought that the program was produced locally, in Philadelphia, just like those of Gene London, Pixanne, Sally Starr, Wee Willie Weber and Adam Android. But no!

That link also mentions many details of the show that I'd forgotten: Rusty the Rooster popping his head up from Friendly's satchel hung on a wall peg; the drawbridge; the cow jumping over the moon; the lines such as "Once upon a time, not long ago and not far away..." and "...And for those who like to rock, a little rocking chair by the fireplace..." and "...look waaayy up..."

I've forgotten how the theme song went. According to that tvparty page, it's "Early One Morning" (from the 16th century?). Is there a MIDI to the tune anywhere? The page mentions lyrics, too; can anyone find them?
