I could sing opera if I wanted (and have been approached to do so on more than one occasion by those representing opera companies locally), but opera just aint my thang. So, I compromise. I use what I have in ways that make me happy, and thus far, no ones complaining too hard that I should shut up (at least not to my face). :D

I think that, in a perfect world, your voice would match your personal tastes, but that is not how it works. Best anyone can do is to work as best they can with what they have.
