CaroleC, as a guest on this thread who has followed the discussion with interest, I'm stunned that anyone could launch such a violent diatribe at you... or anyone. If any two people fail to agree about something, neither of them have any right to assault the other, either verbally or physically. They both have the same responsibility, and that is to find common ground so that the disagreement does not escalate into more serious conflict. At worst, just keep silent and pray for help.
