There's a clone of my current favorite banjo on E-Bay, an S.S. Stewart Orchestra #2 model with a 12" head and reinforced veneer neck. It even has the same inlay pattern and heel carving and a similar serial number. My banjo, which I've had for 20 years, has a rich mellow tone and I would reasonably expect the one of EBay to be similar. The bid is currently around $650 but it should go over $1000 and still be a good buy. Search for "Stewart Banjo" when you reach Ebay.
