For Dicho's benefit, the Roud Index lists no versions of Tam Lin from Canada, and only one variant (well, technically two) from the USA, noted around 1932 by Dorothy Scarborough from Margaret Widdemer, with one stanza from Elinor Wylie, and first printed in Songcatcher (1937). Bronson quotes it, with the comment, "The text as a whole appears to be refashioned, perhaps in good part on Child's D".The song has rarely been found outside Scotland, though a scattering of variants, some very fragmentary, have turned up in Ulster.
