You will see some prices for steel strings next week. I'll ask for left-handed designs, but I'm sure they will have them.

Regarding kits, remember that the glues and finishings are a delicate issue by themselves and it is nothing simple, see the thread "Brazilian vs. Indian Rosewood" where Catspaw explains many important details.

By the way, Argentinean luthiers use the Brazilian rosewood (jacaranda) variety, solid spruce or red cedar, and ebony.
