A friend brought me back a gift from Nepal a dozen or so years ago. A little pot-metal bracelet, with an inscription that basically translates to: BE HERE NOWIt's jokingly become known as my 'buddhist wristwatch'. What time is it? Now.
It's led me to think more about 'now' every time I wear it. That past and future pitfalls aren't really within my reach, and I should deal with each 'now' situation to the best of my ability. (not saying that I'm successful, mind you, but I try! *g*)
