Isn't it clever of mother nature to make virtually ALL newborn critters, no matter what size, shape, genus or whatever, bring out the baby-talking, soft-bellied maternal yummies in all of us? So if a baby loses its own natural protector, some one of us will most likely take it in and raise it as best we can. Spiders and mosquitos excepted, of course -- but any baby mammal or even bird can turn me and most human mothers into mush.Congratulations to all concerned on the healthy and pretty baby -- out kicking in the field by now?
