Anyhow, yes, Seattle does apparently have something resembling a serious Polish restaurant, albeit only on Fridays: U Pavarottiego. The Seattle Esperanto Society was hoping to honor our roots by holding our Zamenhof's Birthday Banquet in a Polish restaurant this year, but discreet inquiries confirmed that this is all there is, and our Banquet is not on a Friday. So I'll have to go as a civilian. But the menu has a certain allure, not the smallest part of which is the tripe.
