This Yank is so glad to learn of the Memorial Project. Hopefully all Irish, and Irish-descended, people can come to accept that Collins *does* belong high up on the roll-call of Ireland's heroes----regardless of which side you or I may feel we would have taken in the civil war.

I think the Big Fella did his very best for his beloved country. And, romantic absolutist visions aside, I suspect his best was better than anybody else could have done, given the realities of the time. For this he paid with his life.
