Strangely enough, I don't think that England are playing to their potential yet. The great thing is that they are coming together as a team --- playing three games unchanged has given them a real unity, particularly defensively. Ferdinand and Campbell are beginning to look like the best central defensive partnership around, but they'd be really tested against Brazil. However, the Brazilian defence is notoriously suspect, and the speed of Owen and Heskey will hopefully give them real problems. With Beckham just getting back to his best (he didn't do that much against Denmark, but everything he did was crucial)and Butt and Scholes dominating the midfield, England have a real chance in what may turn out to be a classic goal-fest --- hopefully a case of "we're gonna score one more than you".
