That phrase: "and yet agreeth thereunto" gets to the sense of quality, which is beyond words, and yet so important.Jack: Speaking of archaic language: "Waxing", in the old days, simply meant to become more of something -- didn't just refer to the moon. So to say something "waxes cold" isn't equating it with the moon, it's just saying "grows colder". And dew may not fade, but "evaporate" doesn't really scan with the line.
