Can't argue with much of this. The history books say that Brazil will win easily, period. However, England's players can be cocky young sods who don't give a buggers about history. The defence looks better than it has done for years and really England have had some extraordinary luck - which is important. They have nine or ten first choice players available and they have now had a few games together. I agree that they could quite conceivably play better - and there would be no time better than on Friday. However, the hot midday temperatures will favour the experienced Brazilians, who are now clear favourites to lift the trophy. They have the firepower to win games without dominating them. The difference is, so do England this time around. The Brazilians should win, but England are unlikely ever to get a better chance against the world's greatest football nation.
