The owner (?) of Wit's End told me recently that they no longer have an open mike except one for songwriters on Tuesdays.  They do, however, have several jam sessions on Fridays.  Fourth Friday  is Scandinavian, third Friday is bluegrass, one of the other two is Celtic, and I forget what the other is.
