Swearing is a legitimate part of human language. Where I live in Eccles Manchester UK swearing is part of the normal day to day conversation. I think some one earlier said "bad language" was "low class", that hits the nail on the head. Middle class people have purloined folk music and now the people who's culture it was have to be kept out. The easiest way to do that is through language. Most of the media is in their hands and the cultural genocide of working class folk traditions is almost complete. PP
