I used to be good at this. What about "My Boyfriend's Back" by the Angels? (a fave of mine). It went straight to Number #1, and I don't remember that the Angels ever did anything else. The Marcels' "Blue Moon" went to Number 1, and ditto. though I seem to recall they might have done something else that scraped into the top 100.
What about The Silhouettes? ("Get A Job!!" "Get Off the Mudcat And Get a Job!")
