I really enjoyed Cleckheaton festival, and seeing so many (old!!) faces I've not seen for some time! it was lovely hearing the Shellbacks again - look forward to seeing you in Uppermill. (

If any of you have a free weekend in 2 weeks (July 19-21) it's Saddleworth Folk Festival. We're still novices as it's only our 5th Festival, but not virgins, as our SAFRA Alien was deflowered on the campsite at Upton 2 years ago!

We've got a decent guest list, with Tanglefoot, Ola and the Bushbury's (amongst many others), brill singarounds, real ale served by Moor and Coast, a good campsite....and we're very children and young people friendly. Oh, and we've been told that we're a really nice crowd on the hills there. it would be great to see some of you there.
