Actually Steve, when you hear the trouble that Keith Richard goes to with the tunings etc, you can make a good argument for calling them a folk influenced band at times. Especially as in the examples Mooh gave. I don't reallly like strict definitions in music. To some folks of course, it's a nonsense to see the Stones as a part of the folk process. I guess we will only get our answer if we all live a couple of hundred years longer and see what happens!
