Pot isn't really an important enough thing to make moral judgements about. :-)But to my friends in the early 70's it was a veritable sacrament! This is amusing now...matter of fact, it was even amusing then, to me anyway. I would say that among the real "folk" people in Toronto at that time, casual pot smoking was probably fairly common. Like I said, it was "the thing to do". I believe it had far more to do with the age group, essentially, than the choice of music (in the case of folk music).
