I've been trying to locate a little known train song about the stormy night in 1881 when Kate Shelley saved the Midnight Express near Boone, Iowa.

I remember there was a folk singer working in the Chicago area who wrote and published such a song but I can't remember who it was. It may have been Pat Garvey; I've written him a note to ask.

Does anyone else remember this song?
