Thread Name: Lyr Req: Ring Dang Doo
Subject: RE: Ring Dang Doo
We sang this in 1950 - 1952 while in the Army. Only some lyrics were somewhat different.

"When I was young, etc, etc,
---------from New Orleans,
Her hair was red and her eyes was blue -
she had what's known - - - "

cho: "Oh, the ring dang doo, now what is that
It's soft and round like a pussy cat,
All covered with hair, and split in two,
That's what is known as the ring dang doo"

"She took me up upon her bed - -
---------
She grabbed ahold of my toodle doo
and put it in that Ring Dang Doo"

We sang it from Connecticut, to Virginia, to California, back to Virginia and on to Augsburg, Germany - Heavy Tank Co, 102nd Inf Regt, 43rd Inf Div.
