I once said to someone "I wonder why some of us cry" and she said "because we're strong enough to." There's something special about sharing tears and that depth of feeling when listening to a song or anything else. I thought I was the only one with wet eyes until I looked up. There's also something very special about a person who has the strength and willingness to give gifts like that song and others as close to the heart. There's also something special about people who create an environment where that level of trust is possible. I probably would have cried if I'd heard the song in a train station. I just wouldn't have looked up.
