A book by Art would be a great idea. But since someone else has already brought up the subject I'd really like to say that a book by Sandy would become a contribution to our folk world as valuable as all the Folk-Legacy recordings already are. I've known Sandy and Caroline for at least 30 years and they're like family to me. I have heard many stories that I can't even begin to remember. My God, how I wish I could. To be able to have them in writing so I could read them whenever I wanted would be fantastic. Sometime last winter I had a conversation with Sandy about this very thing but he brushed it off. I hope he doesn't get upset with me for saying this on the 'Cat, but one of his comments was, "Who'd want to read it?" I'm sure lots of 'Catters would. I hope we can use this thread to encourage Sandy and Art to pursue these most valuable projects. I've offered to do the work for Sandy's and the offer still stands. Sandy, I hope the comments in this thread already written and the ones yet to come will get you to rethink the opportunity you have to make a valuable contribution to the Legacy of the Folk and the music that is so deeply a part of who we all are.

Come on folks, let's convince them both!
