I've been looking all over Dublin for a CD of Mise Eire, Sean O Riada's stupendous music from the 1960s film about the 1916 Rising. Not a sign of it in any shop - and one shop-owner foamed at the mouth and said that he was ordering this and other CDs regularly from Gael-Linn and it was impossible.
This is the most important work of Irish music of the 20th century, by the country's premier composer. It's disgraceful that it should be unavailable.
Does anyone know where I can buy a copy of the CD? It's listed on various websites, but having tried a couple, it's the same story with them.
