how about doc watson's GREENVILLE TRESSEL HIGH..? (1)i remember as a lad,all the good times i had... i'd sit and watch the trains go by... and the whistles' lonesome sound... you could hear for miles around... as she rolled across thst greenville tressel high... (chorus) but the whistle doesnt sound like it used to... lately,not many trains go by... hard times across the land,mean no work for a railroad man... and the greenville tressel now don't seem so high... (2)on the river bank i'd stand... with a cane pole in my hand... i'd watch the frieght trains up against the sky... with the black smoke trailing back... as she rolled along the track... she'd roll across that greenville tressel high... (3)when the lonesome whistle whines... i'd get rambin on my mind... lord,i wished they still sounded that way... as she turns and heads for home... lord she'd rumble on and on... towards the sunset at the break of day...
