The good news is certainly welcome! Still, we have to remember there's a long way yet to go... He's out of the quicksand, by still in the jungle, so our support can still be very important, and may remain so for a long time...

It's amazing how events change your perceptions and priorities. We had a small disaster here, and the room filled with my computers and instruments got flooded. We pulled out the computers and instruments, and as soon as I could, got a computer set up again & checked the mudcat for any news. Prior to this, I would've waited until tomorrow or the next day to set the computer up.

Prior to 'Spaw's emergency, I probably would have been obsessed by the possibility of harm to my precious guitars and other personal possessions, but this puts it all in perspective.
