Have you tried making a baking soda paste, rubbing it in, letting it dry, and then vaccuming it out? Also, here in the States we have a powdered stain remover called Oxy Clean that seems to work well with odours. If that doesn't work, try locking your cat in the case and mailing it to a random address in France.
