Thread Name: BS: If You Were Totally Honest, Part II
Subject: RE: BS: If You Were Totally Honest, Part II
Amos, what I often mean when I say that is that until one has looked, listened, and spoken with the eyes, ears, and mouth of love, one has not yet been truthful enough... that the accuracy of truth is incomplete without seeing the person and the situation fully enough to have seen them from a loving viewpoint.... that love reveals the rest of the truth hidden by our lack of having looked close enough. And you can't get a really close look without loving someone, because that person will not let you see all that you would have to see to be accurate, and thus fully honest, about what there is to BE seen.

Of course, one can be as honest as one wishes to be about however much one sees. But if we see only part of the person or situation, and let fly about that, we may be entirely missing the point that would be significant. I can be honest about something I've seen with my blinders on... but what's the value of that?

So I may be "honest," but that doesn't mean I have offered TRUTH. Truth and truthfulness ain't the same thang.
