Do you know that the surnames Webster, Brewster, and Baxter are the female names for Webber (weaver), Brewer, and Baker, i.e. occupational names. They derive from Web-sister, Brew-sister, and Bake-sister. Spinster comes from Spin-sister, but then it took on the unmarried female meaning as well. Maybe you can build on that idea somehow.Maybe Spin-sisters, (kind of similar to spin-doctors)?
Or how about Uke-an-fiddle (you can fiddle)?
Or Fiddle-Faddle? (Is this just an Oz term? It means nonsense, balderdash, etc)
The Ukelele Ladies - remember that old song?
Up the Creek Without a Fiddle?
Umm - I think I'd better go to bed...*grin*
