Keith Marsden's "Morley Main" takes some beating as a tear-jerker, along with other mining disasters.

"The Farmer's Toast" always cheers me up but some won't like it as it's so smug! Almost any shanty, really. There's something about a full throated sing that gets the endorphins going.
