Spat what spat? Arn't we both saying the same thing but from different angles - welllllll no probably not. However I thhink we are both right in some respects.

I suppose I am a bit intollerant of things that I don't like (but hey that's my right) but being a piper I am also aware that pipes are not people's favourite instrument and their very presence in a session can cause people all kinds of problems. I am aware of that and adjust the amount that I contribute to a session accordingly.

It was once written that a piper should play no more than 4 sets in a session inorder not to upset people - I tend to stick to that, I could play all night. I try to be considerate can the same be said of someone who sings a 40 verse dirge?
