Singer/songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman wrote a whole album's worth of songs dealing with her grief and recovery after the death of her husband. ("Sand and Water"< Reprise, 1997) It's a bit tough to listen to the entire CD, but several of the songs are just gorgeous.
