As Herga Kitty, Linda Kelly and other who are part of the T & S crew will no doubt agreed with me in stating that the T & S sing a round is the crem de la crem over the years various new people have become regulars. For instance Kitty first came along last year, this year great singers like Hazel have surfaced so people are not being excluded per se and I have to agree with the previous comment about sessions or sing a rounds degenerating into drivel if some sort of 'quality control' is not in place. If the room was two or three times larger then an open door policy could be maintained but the down side would be that some folks wouldn't get a sing, it took three and a half hours to once round the room as it was.
