This is very upsetting... I believed the Black Boy was being made available for a singaround on the Friday night, and so mentioned it to others in the Shellback Chorus. Stew and others turned up with their children, as they always do at festivals, and were pleased to be welcome after being refused entry to the White Hart where the official Friday night do was taking place.

At no time was anyone being asked to act as babysitters, Les, the children were excellently behaved and in the company of their parents at all times, and I certainly didn't see any harm in them being there, though you obviously did.

Perhaps if conditions are to be imposed on who attends a singaround in future it could be stipulated in advance?
