I just popped Pithead in the Fern into my CD drive ... and the stanza beginning "... A mile inland ..." is not on that CD.

I seem to remeber raising this with John Warner some time back and he said that, at 5'24", the track was already getting too long for most listeners ... so he left it out.

I'll check with him ... but that is my memory of it!
